Role: Predominantly a buy to let broker, Gavin also helps clients with their residential mortgage needs. His knowledge of buy to let lending criteria is second to none, so if you are not sure which lender or mortgage is right for you, talk to Gavin for a deeper understanding of the available solutions. 

Although he's based in the Wilmslow office, Gavin's clients live all over the UK and range from professional landlords with large property portfolios, to those just thinking of getting into buy to let.

Gavin works closely with case manager, Melanie Bailey. 

Experience: Having left university a while back, Gavin's first career was in the chemical industry. After a few years he changed tack and joined the Britannia Building Society where he quickly rose through the ranks. Noted for his ability to meet his business customers' expectations, he was twice nominated for a national customer service award. From Britannia he moved to Chase de Vere Investments where, in addition to managing his own clients, he set up the broker training and development programme for sister company London & Country Mortgages.

His relevant professional qualifications include the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC), Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), Certificate in Money Laundering Prevention and, Certificate of Business Banking and Conduct (CertBB&C), which he passed with distinction.
